When Survivors Give Birth training and am in the process of training for opiate treatment in pregnancy. I am also certified in High Risk Inpatient OB. I worked in Labor & Delivery for 11 years and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 8 years. I’ve probably attended over 2500 births. I have a special heart for women with trauma, abuse, or addictions.
I do all sorts of hand crafts like bobbin lace, hardanger (it’s Norwegian) and pulled threadwork.
Oh, something to do. I also love to travel, I’ve been to 17 foreign countries.
In a toilet, in Haiti, and let’s see…some water births.
Patience with the natural process and non-judgmental care.
