Sunset School Health Center will close for summer break beginning Friday, June 14th and will reopen at the start of the new school year. During this time, please visit the CHAS Maple St. Clinic (3919 N. Maple, Spokane) for your health needs. The beautifully-renovated Maple St. Clinic has pediatricians who are eager to meet your children!
The Health Center is closed during school holidays and school breaks. When the Health Center is closed, students are encouraged to call another CHAS clinic for medical and dental services.
Welcome to Sunset School Health Center!
The Sunset School Health Center is a health clinic that provides medical and limited dental care to all students within Cheney School District, as well as to siblings of Cheney School District students. The Health Center is operated by CHAS and sponsored by School Health Care Association of Spokane County.
Sunset School Health Center provides primary medical care by an experienced primary care provider including:
- Evaluation and treatment of common health problems
- Well-child exams
- Sports physicals
- Oral health evaluations
- Fluoride treatments
- Dental education
Students must be registered with the Sunset School Health Center in order to receive care at the Health Center. A completed registration form with parent or guardian signature is all that is needed to access the services offered. Students may visit the Health Center without an appointment by getting a pass from their teacher or when referred by the school nurse.
And best of all - all students are able to receive services at the Health Center regardless of ability to pay.
