Outreach

CHAS’ outreach team works to make sure people who are without homes find the best resources available in the Spokane area.  We can also help "newly homeless" clients find appropriate resources.  Our outreach team belongs to the Spokane Homeless Coalition and works in tandem with various agencies in Spokane County.  We help people of all ages and our team members are mobile so they can make site visits with clients.

Our team can provide the following services:

• On-site visits to shelters and meal sites
• Follow-up care/visits as needed or necessary
• Counsel clients as appropriate and/or on request
• Case management for clients in various situations
• Provide clients with the seasonal gear, i.e. hats, gloves, socks, coats, blankets, water, ice, towelettes, band-aids & more

Our team can provide referrals to the following resources:

• Medical & dental clinics
• Mental health
• Drug & alcohol treatment (inpatient & outpatient)
• Emergency and temporary shelters
• Various meal sites
• Housing programs
• Food and clothing banks
